Nexus Wireless charging kit. Check it out!

It is going to be an era of Wireless charging. The wireless charging got some light with the introduction of the Lumia 920. The Lumia 920 and Qi together joined hands and built the wireless charging technology inside the 920. But this resulted in the phone being heavy and bulky. Nokia has also introduced the wireless charging pad and also in coordination Fatboy, a pillow which is the perfect set of accessories for the used-to-be- flagship phone. The old Lumia devices also got the wireless charging kits in the form of shells, especially the 820 and 720. Now nexus devices can also rejoice with their own wireless charging pads.  The pads are in line of design of the nexus phones and cover only the part where the wireless charging hardware is present.

Nexus Charging device

The device sure looks cute and beautiful. The device measures 60X60X12.5 mm and weighs only 105g. The device is for sale in United States (for now) and is expected to hit other countries soon. It is priced at $50 and compatible with the Nexus 5, Nexus 7 and the Nexus 4. All these devices use the Qi standards and thus the pads are exchangeable. ie. The LG Nexus 4 can use the Lumia 920 Pad and vice versa. The term wireless charging can be misleading but it is to mean that the device is not directly connected to direct power supply. No wires are connected to the device.
