Nokia bets that you can never lose your valuable again with its “Treasure Tag“. Treasure Tag is a colourful accessory which measures around 30 x 30 x 10mm and having a weight of 13g. This small tag can be a perfect partner for people with absent minds and miss their keys or other similar possessions. How? Lets see in brief!

How does Treasure Tag alert you?

Treasure Tag comes with built-in Bluetooth and NFC and simultaneously connects to your Nokia Lumia. You can easily pair your valuable to the tag to the companion Tag app, so that you can get loud alerts when you go out of reach of the valuable. If you have got more than one valuable to be connected – like the key, wallet or bag – the app allows you to easily assign different icons/photos to each of your item.

All these icons will be shown on the Start Screen as Live Tile and will be colour coded to match the Tag.

Can Treasure Tag locate my valuable?

Yes, after you are alerted with the tone, if you are not sure to where your key or wallet is, the Treasure Tag has the ability to communicate the valuable’s location to the phone, so that you can see it on the HERE maps.

How to Deactivate a Tag?

Don’t want an alert? Just long press on the Tag to de-activate it. Also you have an option to mute the alarm or put the Tag app in sleep mode.

When can I get a Nokia Treasure Tag and what is the price?

You can expect Nokia Tag in retail markets from April 2014.

It comes in four different colours: cyan, yellow, white and black for a  price of €24,90 ($29.90).
