Cut the Rope 2 is coming to iOS with new levels, new characters and much more!

Cut the rope is a game by Zeptolab which was released for the iOS and Android version a long back and the Windows Phone version was released recently. It is a puzzle which needs some creative thinking and imagination to solve it and feed the poor Om Nom (candy monster).

Cut the rope had several updates which added some new levels to it. Now, the levels are arranged in three seasons. The three seasons contain five categories of levels which have 25 games each. There are other spinoffs to the series as well – Cut the Rope: Experiments and Cut the rope: Time travel. In Experiments, it is quite the same as Cut the Rope but you get an added voice of a scientist which was really nice as you get praise for completing each level. Well, Everyone does require an appreciation and a praise from time to time.

Cut the Rope: Time travel features going back in time and also features two Om Nom- One of the past and one of the present. You have to help them both get candies. There are three type of sweet items- candy, donut and cupcake. You can choose any one but the endresult is quite the same- Om Nom eats it all!

The next version or the sequel of Cut the Rope is an iOS exclusive and is set to release on the 19th of December (this month). But Zeptolab has promised an Android version as well and that is in development. A Windows Phone version is also set to follow suit.  A teaser video of Cut the Rope 2 was put up by Zeptolab and is introducing new characters, new level, hats and new form of gameplay (mechanisms). It will be like a mixture between Amazing Alex and the old Cut the rope. Here is the video. Check it out.

It hits iPhone at $0.99 and Android will have two versions- One free with limited levels and the other paid which will have all the levels unlocked. Go get that candy Om Nom.
