Recent Acquisitions by Yahoo – Towards a new social Network ?

Google combined many platforms to their new platform to make their own Social Networking “Google+”, like YouTube, which had been acquired. In the similar way, Marissa Mayer joined Yahoo! as CEO in June 2012 and she is been acquiring many companies in the last eight months. It’s not clear what the strategy is been followed by her until now ! But sounds she is making all the Internet Giant to once again become relevant. While not every one may be related to the construction of a social network,there are several key components that are coming together.
