Renault’s new concept car has a companion flying Drone!
Yes, drones are the future, and this drone from Renault really stands out! Say you are driving through some terrain, forest or some trafficked area; in all the cases you might want to step out of the car and look whether there is a way out there to reach your destination. So here comes an end to this confusion with the Flying companion drone from Renault!
At the Indian Auto Expo 2014, at Delhi, Renault unveiled its KWID concept car with various interesting design features and a remote-controllable/pre-programmable flying drone. Renault says, “The Flying Companion can be used for a variety of purposes, including scouting traffic, taking landscape pictures and detecting obstacles on the road ahead,”
The cars interiors also seem very different! Firstly, the steering is placed in the center, and there is room left for two other passengers to side by each side of the driver, Renault quotes that this design will meet the international driving standards and allow the car to be driven in both left-handed and right-handed conditions. The rear seat can be occupied comfortably by two passengers.
The seats are covered by a net-like elastomer material. And the interior looks warm in colourful yellow! Time to see some pictures and KWID concept car in action!
