Samsung making Retina Display for Apple’s big iPad Mini and more news!

What comes to your mind when you think about Apple and Samsung? All you can think about is rivalry, taking their heated battles to courts and big penalties. Samsung copies Apple, falls under a lawsuit, and yet they do the same – Copy, Copy, Copy? Does a company keep on paying its rival more and more money?

But do you know that in spite of all those things, Samsung is going to make Retina display for Apple for the next big iPad? This is not what I call rivalry! There should be some under-the-table dealings going on between Apple and Samsung, and the companies fight wars just for deceiving people? Maybe! Maybe that is Apple’s way of increasing its revenue?

Previously the screens were produced by manufacturers like LG, Sharp and small companies like AUO ( a Taiwanese manufacturer) which is not so widely known.

Before that, What do you think the Retina Display’s are? They are a particular type of graphics resolution. For Example, the qHD resolution of a normal screen plus 100 pixels for the breadth was what apple termed Retina display. The qHD displays come with a resolution of 960×540 pixels while Apple’s display for the iPhone was 960×640.

Samsung pretty much copied or ripped it off from Apple – first the iPhone, second the technologies and even the child actress who acted for iPhone ad! What else will Samsung rip off? The list goes on! But in spite of all this, the companies are still interdependent on each other. One company relies on the other for particular components that go into the phones and tablets. Not only this, Samsung is also expected to be the manufacturer of the A8 chips for the iPad Mini 2. What an irony! Lets wait to watch more!
