Samsung unveils Series 7 Ultra, refreshed Series 7 Chronos at CES 2013
With only few days to go before the CES wherein Samsung is to unveil the new Samsung Smart Tv, two new Series 7 monitors , Smart Tango Corner Clean robotic vacuum and Samsung’s new Smart TV Software Development Kit which would support Linux and Mac O/S, the company’s PC division is launching two notebooks to its Series 7 family! Yes, it includes the Series 7 Ultra, a 13-inch Ultrabook, and a refreshed Series 7 Chronos with AMD graphics.
The Series 7 Ultra is going to be the first Ultrabook in Series 7 and it will feature touch screen and a normal screen too. Also you find variants with processors (Core i5 or i7) and different storage capacities (128GB or 256GB). The resolution would be 1080p and memory would be up to 16GB of RAM. The Ultrabook would also have a backlit keyboard, JBL speakers and a 1GB AMD HD8570M GPU.
When we come to Chronos, it will be 15-inch version would be refreshed with AMD’s new AMD Radeon HD 8870M GPU. So we could expect increased browsing and general application speeds. The company has recently launched a teaser for this, you could watch the video below.
