Galaxy Xcover 2 – A Waterproof Smartphone from Samsung

A Galaxy handset with a sturdy case that can withstand water up to one meter deep for 30 minutes! Ohh wait, it is dust and sand resistant too. Yes it is Xcover 2 from Samsung!

Powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the handset runs on a 1GHz dual-core processor. It has 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage.

There is GPS, a 4-inch WVGA 800×480 display, a 5mp on the back with auto-focus and an LED flash, a 2-megapixel camera on the front, a 1,700 mAh battery that promises up to 570 hours of standby time.

Forgot to mention that there is a  physical camera button to ensure you to capture all your underwater pictures. There is no information of the pricing and availability of the handset yet. Lets wait to hear more!
