World’s scary swimming spool – Hangs on top of 24 story building with a Glass bottom

Architects are getting better and better! Swimming pools are a known feature of any hotel across the world, but hanging it on top of a 24 story building with a glass bottom, is something scary. This scary swimming pool was built in Holiday Inn Shanghai Pudong Kangqiao’s, China. The pool measures 30 meters long (about 98 feet), six meters wide (20 feet) and 1.5 meters deep (5 feet) and is suspended mid-air with a toughened bottom glass. The design was done by the Singapore firm Chan Sau Yan Associates, which is the most scary pool ever in china.

The hotel management was keen to setup an unique swimming pool that can give its guest an unforgettable swimming experience. The Shanghai Pudong has 390 rooms, four star hotel and is located at 22 kilometers southeast from Shanghai downtown.
