Sony announces Alpha SLT-A57 DSLR camera
Do you remember the famous Alpha SLT-A55V, the translucent mirror lineup camera from Sony? Alpha A55V had setback of poor battery life and the lack of manual controls for video shooting. Now the latest Alpha SLT-A57 comes in at the same price of its predecessor but with good battery life and without the built-in geotagging feature. The model comes with the better body design like A77/A65V and with the same resolution as A55V. The model also features mirroless NEX-FN with the newer image processor.
Some of the other key features are, Auto Portrait Framing, which uses face detecting for the better placement of the subject within the frame and also when the subject is cropped. Another notable feature is Auto plus mode, which can invoke multishot modes such as Handheld Twilight or Auto HDR.
