Sony Ericsson LiveView

Sony Ericsson has released so many mobiles and electronic goods and they have their own place in the market. People who are using Android phones have a problem of taking out their mobiles from the pocket and see each time, if any calls or text messages are received. Sony Ericsson has created a device called Sony Ericsson LiveView which can be used with any Android 2.x phones. By using this device people can just view the missed calls, text messages or update their facebook status without picking the phone which is in their pocket. How does it work?

sony-ericsson-liveviewActually, Sony Ericsson LiveView is a small device which comes with a wrist band and can be worn just as a wrist watch. This device will have a OLED screen with 128 x 128 pixels and contains some interaction elements like 4-way navigation (touch sensors at the front, just at the edges of the screen). It basically works as a desktop application which can display a message on its small display screen whenever a call or text message is received. It not only displays new messages or calls, it even displays the call logs in your phone and can even play the music available in your phone. It works with any Android phone with bluetooth connectivity. One thing the user of Android phone should do is download the LiveView application and install that in his/her phone. When the bluetooth is switched on automatically it detects the LiveView device and the device will be ready to use. Now, the users can control their mobiles without taking them out of their pockets. There is no wordings about the pricing, but it is said to cost around $82 and will be available for sale from March 2011.
