Toyota Corolla Altis Diesel Review

Toyota Corolla has finally launched Corolla Altis Diesel on 21 July 2010 in the Indian market. The Corolla Altis diesel edition is being sold by the company for around Rs 10.95 lakh. The car will be accessible in three variants D4DJ, D4DG and D4DGL. Cost of the top end model would Rs 13.75 lakh. The Altis diesel is powered by a 1.4 litre common rail diesel engine, which is capable of producing 88.4PS and a torque of 205 Nm. A manual six-speed gearbox handled transmission duties.

Interiors and exteriors have remained almost untouched except for a different looking front grille and some minor aerodynamic tweaks. All said Toyota’s USP has always been consistent performance and reliability and the combination of both will be hard to beat in the value and brand conscious Indian car market. The new Corolla Diesel has been priced at a competitive Rs 10.95 Lakhs for the base model topping at Rs 13.75 Lakhs all prices Ex-Showroom, Delhi.
