In this new generation, Vodafone has unveiled a Web Box which can give Internet connectivity to your TV by just connecting the device to your TV using a RCA Cable.

vodafoneWebBox is primarily a QWERTY keyboard – to the equipment data from the phone stuffed inside – that connects to a TV through RCA cables, basic and allows for relatively fast Internet experience by compressing the data by about 90 percent. It’s very easy to setup, what you need is just plug in the RCA cable to your TV and the Opera mini browser pops out on the TV display screen and you can access internet through it. Web Box will bring Internet to TV and access to 2.5G or EDGE network. By using this users can send emails and text messages which makes it more attractive. Vodafone sells this device – which comes with 2GB SD card and 100 MB of data – in South Africa 749 Rand($102), with other markets and two-year contract plan to add this year.
