Nuance’s Project Wintermute – A cross-platform Cloud-based virtual assistant

Whether you own an Android or an iOS device, that doesn’t matter for Wintermute. A personal assistant on every device, is what the Wintermute is going to be!

Nuance’s Project code named Wintermute, is the latest effort focusing on building a cross-platform, cloud-based virtual assistant. Nuance wants the people to use Wintermute from any tablet or smartphone using Android or iOS invariably! They are even targeting the TVs and cars!

The company is very keen to be independent and not part of any device’s dominance. “We want to be completely platform agnostic,” says Nuance VP. He also told that, Wintermute doesn’t want to be in Apple’s device and get lost as a feature of Siri.
