Digg intends to create Google Reader Alternative

Here is a happy news and a sad news to all those who were fans Google’s Reader service. Sad news is that as you all know, Google’s Reader service going down from 1st July 2013. But the Happy News is that famous social news website Digg has intentions of providing an alternative to Google’s Reader service. With the demise of Google Reader, Digg wants to cash on. In a Company’s blog post it is said that, the company is working on a substitute to Google Reader.

Digg intends to build an exclusive reader by the second half of this year. Digg’s RSS Reader is expected to have add-on features like social networking integration and will support site including Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Tumblr, Hacker and many more.

It is too early to speculate about the new Digg’s Reader feature list. However, you can always suggest them about a cool realistic feature (through our below comment system) which you missed in Google’s Reader service to implement in the new Digg’s Reader.
