iOS 7 features – FaceTime calls, Control Center and AirDrop more
iOS 7 is the hottest and latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system. According to Apple’s CEO iOS 7 is going to be the biggest change to the platform.
The new design is sure to come out colorful with a lot of modern revamps and redesign! All the stock apps are modified to include better and sharp graphics and features! Apple says that the new design will make the phone “appear bigger” with each app making better use of the screen real-estate with clean, flat layouts. The signal bars in the upper left corner are replaced with a series of dots.
Lets have a quick glimpse on few changes-
* New sharper, flatter icons and slimmer fonts.
* New slide-to-unlock function.
* Control panel that slides from bottom of the screen for frequently accessed settings like music, airplane mode, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, flashlight, brightness, and more.
* Multitasking upgraded with support for all apps. Meaning that all apps smart update in the background and without affecting battery life.
* Push notifications can trigger apps to update in the background. The new card-based multitasking interface is an addition.
* Safari mobile browser features full-screen browsing, gesture-based navigation, and new flipping card-tab overview. Safari for iOS supports Apple’s new iCloud Keychain, that syncs passwords and credit card information.
* AirDrop lets you share content with other iOS users through the Control Center.
* Camera refreshed with improved UI, square photo framing, and new filters.
* Photos app added with new Moments feature that organizes images by time and location, and also provide an overview of all of the pictures you’ve taken in a particular year.
* Siri in iOS 7 features flat interface and upgraded with new voices. You can also control functions like Bluetooth or controlling brightness and playing back voicemail messages via Siri.
* App Store shows you apps that are popular for which place you are and also features automatic app updates in the background.
* iTunes has got one of the biggest update which includes a new interface and Apple’s brand new iTunes Radio. iTunes Radio lets you choose songs to listen on demand, and also curate radio stations based on particular songs, artists, albums, or genres. iTunes Radio works on iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, and iTunes on the Mac and PC.
* Notification sync across devices.
* iOS in the car allows you to control the system, place calls, play music, look up directions, all with your voice!
* FaceTime audio calls over Wi-Fi.
