iPhone History in a quick view- Infographic tells it all!!

The Apple iPhone began its journey in 2007. When it hit the market, people were standing in a queue outside retailer stores the night before, without sleep to get their new smartphone- the iPhone. Not many of you will recognize this iPhone shown in the below image. It is the world’s first iPhone- the first generation touch phone from Apple. It brought with it the birth of fluidic touch (butter touch in case of Android and feather touch in case of Lumia). It could make calls, send texts but not perform any tasks as that of a smartphone. Resetting the device will take ages. You have to make sure the device didn’t hang or that the battery didn’t run out. This was also the case of a non openable battery cover, no micro SD card slot, a proprietary Apple connector to be used for charging and iTunes for data transfer. Apple slowly building on these properties brought in the App Store, Siri, etc. to where it stands now alternating between top and second position. iOS is still in second position due to Android dominating the market at 40.6% share of mobile devices which will be most probably due to Samsung and India.
