Lumia 1520 available for pre-order! Will you get it?!

Just after a few weeks after its announcement, the Lumia 1520 is available for preorder. After the GDR3 update, Nokia has released six of its devices in the Abu Dhabi Nokia World in October. The six devices are Lumia 2520, Lumia 1520, the 1320, Asha 500, 502 and 3G enabled 503.

The Lumia 1520 is the flagship device of the lot and is said to feature a 6″ inch screen and the first phablet from Nokia. The other features are Windows 8 GDR3 update which features a 1080p resolution support with Nokia advantage- the Lumia Bittersweet shimmer (as it was previously known) or the Lumia Black (as it is known now). I kind of liked the previous name. The extras include a Nokia Glance screen, Corning Gorilla display 2 which is said to be unbreakable in case you ever “drop” your phone. Lumia background can also be downloaded from the app store which is in beta. You can put your wallpaper in the glance screen. Cool isn’t it?

The Lumia 1520 is said to feature a 20MP (which might be a 20.7MP camera- the 0.7 being for the focusing). The hump or the protrusion of the camera lens is similar to the Lumia 925. So, this can also be said to be an extended version of the 925. The Lumia 1520 is available in four colors similar to the other Lumia range and is sure to introduce color in your life. The only disadvantage is that it is said to feature a Nano-SIM. The Lumia 1520 is now available for preorder in some of the many countries. For everyone who pre-orders the phone, they’ll throw in a $50 Microsoft Store app card as well as an $20 app gift card provided by Nokia. That’s not all – there’s also a free Lumia 1520 flip cover (valued at $39.99) included as well. And if that’s not enough, there’s a free download of Halo: Spartan Assault for Windows Phone to top things off. Microsoft’s offer will end on November 21, while the device starts shipping the next day. The Nokia Lumia 1520 sells for $199. The pricing is available only in USD as it hits USA first. Expect the device to hit India soon. I hope I am the first to do the preorder of the phone (God, I love Lumia)!!!!.
