The brand new technology with luxury fittings, intelligent driving-aids, design for fuel-efficiency and greener environment is here! Yes, its the new Mercedes Benz S-Class which is set to reach dealers on September this year.
There is lot to talk about the car! The company has seeded the S-Class with lot of interesting innovations which go long and long. Starting from the perfume and speakers to braking system and parking assistance!
Benz claims that the new S-Class is the first vehicle in the world that has MAGIC BODY CONTROL which is capable of identifying bumps in the road in advance and adjusting the suspension to the situation. It also has advanced AIRMATIC air suspension for improved vehicle dynamics, the BAS PLUS Brake Assist system with Cross-Traffic Assist to identify traffic crossing the vehicle’s path as well as pedestrians and accordingly boost the driver’s braking performance and PRE-SAFE® Brake avoids collisions with autonomous braking intervention at speeds of up to 50 km/h. Sensors all round the car networked together, for more intelligent driving.
While talking about the vehicle body design, Benz has made it extremely stylish and ultra-modern with great size and space requirements. It gives the best driving comfort with lot of roominess and ease of operation. It has the long-wheelbase saloon and seven-colour ambient lighting. Not to forget the two 12.3-inch high-resolution TFT colour displays, touch-sensitive phone keypad, user-assignable keys for commonly-tweaked features, option to have text messages and emails read out and the new fragrance.
It also has the completely revised climate control system include ionisation and an even more powerful filtration. Various seat options are available and they can massage you – with 14 separately-controlled air cushions and optional warming.
