Virgin Atlantic will allow the use of cell phones during the flight
It’s all about what customer wants! Virgin Atlantic will allow the use of mobile phones during the flight, but for a limited hour and not cheap. According to the announcement from the Airline, the passengers can make phone calls, surf the internet, send and receive text and emails via the packet radio service. The calls will be restricted during the flight only and the passenger has to switch On his device only during that allowed time. “We have listened to what customers want and connectivity in the air is always on the wish list”, says the COO of Virgin Atlantic. The facility will be provided at a charge of $1.20 per minute and only for customers using the Telefonica’s O2 and Vodafone networks. The Airline is also in the plan to extend the service to other customers who are using different networks.
So what do you feel about this service ?
