Asus launches VivoMouse – A Multi-Touch Trackpad for Windows 8
Today ASUS launched its PC peripheral “VivoMouse” – world’s first combined mouse and touchpad at Computex 2013. Asus describes it as the multi-touch trackpad – ‘world’s first’ of its kind. Especially VivoMouse good for one-handed control using the thumb. With the circular touchpad Windows 8 multi-touch gestures such as pinch to zoom, rotate and Start menu toggle can be achieved.
The VivoMouse resembles to Motorola’s Aura handset, in looks as shown in the below picture. The futuristic-looking device is not the first to try to reinvent the mouse, but it also functions as a wireless remote, making it quite a versatile little thing.
VivoPc was also demonstrated along the mouse on stage which is designed for the living room, but there’s no news on how much it costs. Asus says the VivoMouse and VivoPC will both be made available in Q3 2013.
