Future touchscreens will have Tactile buttons that appear and disappear as per the need

Did you read the title right? The future touch screen mobiles will have tangible buttons that will appear when needed and disappear when dialing or texting is done. Tactus Technology, a research company has filed a patent for the “innovative microfluidic technology”, that will get back the buttons for your touch screens. The touch screen will have Tactile layer that can pop up buttons on your tablets and other touch screen devices. The technology will pop up the buttons when needed using the fluid pressure within the cover layer, means physical buttons will arise out of the screen. You can feel the touch of the button like the buttons on the desktop keyboard. This is just a prototype which was revealed during the Society for Information Display Week in Boston.
