Gammatech D12C tough notebook

Gammatech D12C is a Notebook which is designed for users who work in tough work environments. This light weight portable Notebook is designed using Magnesium Alloy which is proven to be strong. The Notebook is tested and Certified under STD-810G standards of drop, shock and spill protection and has survived almost 26 repeated 4 feet high drops to 2-inch plywood over concrete with unit off, exposure to random levels of shocks and 100 ml water spill with the unit on.

This unit is designed in such a way that it is protected from external dirt, grime and dirt. Battery backup of this portable notebook is also quite good.  There’s also the Smart Battery Calibration that prevents the loss of battery capacity after repeated charge-discharge cycles. It is featured with Intel i5 Processor that delivers the best Speed and Data Management.

The Notebook is featured with a 12.1-inch WXGA Touch Screen TFT LED backlit display that can be swiveled and transformed into a Tablet PC configuration, hard handle, optional card reader, fingerprint scanner and Kensington lock. This Convertible Laptop is going to release in the market later in May 2011. Price of this Notebook is not yet being announced.
