Garmin Swim watch for tracking your aquatic workouts

Garmin, the leading watch maker has announced a “Swim Watch” that can track your aquatic workouts. The watch with the price tag of $150 will track the distance swum, average speed, total workout time and uploads stats to the web to help monitor your progress. The gadget comes with six buttons with a functionality to view time, time controller, workout mode and to view and navigate the menu options. You can configure the swim watch with the size of the pool, whether to measure in yards or meters.

Once the configuration is done, you can simple press the swim button and start your workout. The watch has an USB-ANT stick that lets you to pair the gadget with the computer and upload the stats to Garmin Connect site, where you can analysis and review your workout. According to the reports from the maker, the watch features a good battery that can last for a year.
