Instagram now available for Windows Phone 8 devices without Video recording and in-app Camera features

Instagram the popular photo service is an online photo sharing, video sharing and social networking site that allows users to take pictures and videos and allows them to apply filters and other effects and upload them to other social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and Tumblr. The service that was released to Android and iOS a long back and was a great success is now released to the WP8 devices. Though, the application is still in Beta, the app has most of the features of the Android and iOS version but lacks in the video recording and uploading feature.  Also the software seems to not to have an in-app camera support, so the users have to upload the photos from the camera-roll. A button within the app links the camera, and renders the photo after it’s taken to apply filter and uploads it. Instagram says “as with every platform we take into account how users are using the platform natively, and thought this was the best approach”.
