Honda’s all new Urban SUV Concept [NAIAS, Detroit 2013]
Honda officially unveiled at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, its new “Urban SUV Concept”.
The new SUV will be a five-door vehicle that has a length of 169.3 inches (430 cm), making it nine inches (22.9 cm) shorter than the CR-V. Also it is totally aimed at boosting fuel efficiency and reducing CO2 emissions. It will utilize the Earth Dreams engine and transmission technology, Fit’s center-tank layout!
Urban SUV will feature the next-generation telematics and a modern interior, along with Honda’s configurable Magic Seat set-up, that allows for various seating and cargo-carrying options.
The price is expected to be below the CR-V. It will be manufactured at Honda’s newest North American plant near Celaya, Mexico, which is scheduled to open in the spring of 2014 and will be released by the end of next year!
