Furniture maker OHEA announces Smart bed that makes it self after your sleep

The Spanish furniture maker OHEA has announced a “Smart bed” that can straighten up the blanket and align pillows automatically after your sleep.  The smart bed comes with two modes – automatic and manual. In automatic mode, after the last person gets out of the bed, an arm on each side of the bed rises up and rolls up the bed sheet automatically. Another panel located at the head of the bed lifts the two pillows to allow the rolling bed sheet to stretch and cover the whole bed. This process takes about 50 seconds to finish. It means, the smart bed saves your time in the morning by making it self.

According to the reports from the OHEA, the company is confident that the bed will not function while the person is sleeping. This functionality will also behave in the same way even in the manual mode. The smart bed features a weight sensor under the mattress that prevents the bed making process from turning on. The user can also use the remote control to activate the bed making process. The only disadvantage with the smart bed is that, it doesn’t allow the user to spread another blanket over the bottom sheet.  Check out the video below for the demo of the OHEA Smart bed.
