Swogo web app will find the perfect Laptop for you

Wanna buy a laptop? But not sure what could be the perfect one for you? Here’s a web application called “Swogo”, that can help you to identify the perfect laptop that matches your need. Swogo is a free online service, where you can answer six simple questions; which starts from setting the budget, for what you will be using the laptop, whether you will use laptop on the move, the screen size, if you need any other additional feature like BluRay drive or HDMI and brand preference. When you are done answering all of them, Swogo finds the perfect laptop for you. What I was impressed with the service is, there is no need to create an account, you will just need to click “Let’s Get Started” button and start answering the questions right away!

All you need to do is, just head on to the service using the link given at the bottom of this post. Select your budget; by default it is set at $600, but you can simply move the slider to adjust the budget you are expecting. Swogo will start suggesting the laptops that matches your requirement and displays them at the bottom of the page. You can just move the mouse over suggested laptops to checkout the ratings and external store link.

The next screen will request you to identify for what you will be using the laptop; classified as everyday, gaming, multimedia and work. This question will analyze what kind of processor, RAM or graphics you might need.

The third question will let the service to know how often you will use the laptop on the move. This will decide, whether you need a laptop with powerful battery or just a normal one will do. In the fourth question, you will be asked to choose the size of the laptop’s screen (in inches).

If there are more results for your requirements, Swogo requests you to identify whether you are looking for a branded one or not. Finally, you can select the additional features that you wish to have in the laptop. You can select the features based on touch screen, number pad on the keyboard, card reader, web cam, BluRay drive, HDMI port, back-lit keyboard and DVD drive.

Well, by the time you reach 60th second, Swogo will be ready with the perfect laptop for you. You can click the tabs to reveal summary, specification and price details of the laptop.

Swogo might not stop there in laptop hunting business, as the company is planning to help you find tablets, cameras, television and other home appliances as well. Currently the service is available for US and UK users, but not sure whether Swogo will be available for other countries any time soon.
