Torrent Download of GTA V? Beware! Its Malware!

GTA V is an excellent game and yes the game created a sensation. But its really sad that the PC version is not available yet. So what can people do? Just play the game online?! Yeah, thats a good alternate, but its not enough for us and we can confirm this from the online petition signed by over 614,000 to port the game.

The industry sources have hinted at a PC version coming in early 2014. Will that stop people from searching a downloadable game for PC? No! And sadly, thousands PC gamers have downloaded a torrent file hoping to be legitimate GTA V and at the end found machines infested with malware says a  report!

The file looks real and appears above the fold on Google search results, and nearly 7000 users are connected. When you install the game, you will be asked to complete couple of surveys to get the activation key. And if you complete it, Congrats, you have successfully infested your PC after downloading an exe file of 18.3GB and completing some time consuming surveys!

So, please withhold all torrent download before the Rockstar rolls it out official. Any legit torrent is too fast to come before even the developer has atleast announced a PC version of the game!
