Twitter Announces “Twttr” #nvwls. Twitter will charge $5 A Month If You Want To Tweet Using Vowels!

Do we really need vowels? Teen texting nowadays has already eliminated vowels. Its coming to the next step as Twitter has announced a new service called Twttr, where you can only Tweet with consonants. But whats going to be shocking is that you can use vowels in your premium service, via Twitter, for five dollars a month!

Here, Twttr is a bit generous about its users since its offering “Y” free! Also, the vowels in URLs will be free for everyone, forever! Twttr says that you can also Tweet in non-Latin characters based languages, like Japanese, Chinese, Arabic or Korean. All, these languages will remain unaffected by the service change.

“We’re doing this because we believe that by eliminating vowels, we’ll encourage a more efficient and “dense” form of communication. We also see an opportunity to diversify our revenue stream.”

Twttr believes that this change will give an Extra room for better Twts. This new service will roll out slowly to a small percentage of users, growing to 100% over the next few days.

From now on, its time you practice using only consonants (and “y”) with the hashtag #nvwls (or pay for the premium service – #icanhasvowels). You can adopt to this transition easily! Meanwhile there is a site that helps you till you change, it automatically transforms your Tweets into a Twttr friendly format. Try it now at twttr.com!
