Xolo Q1000 unveiled for a price of 14,999 INR
Xolo launches the next in the line of smartphone devices in the form of the Xolo Q1000. This device follows the Q700 that was launched a couple weeks back. The Q700 boasted of a first of its kind multi-profile interface; meaning users could create separate profiles for work and personal life much like creating user profiles on a PC. The device was priced just shy of 10K at 9,999 INR. The Q1000, on the other hand, has been priced at 14,999 INR. The phone has not been spared the standard issue elementary features that has become a norm in the Android smartphone market especially since the introduction of the Jelly Bean update to the operating system.
The devices comes with a 5 inch display with 720×1280 pixel resoltions and 295 ppi pixel density, equipped with Dual-SIM capabilities. An 8 megapixel rear facing camera with LED Flash and BSI sensor support coupled with a 1.2 megapixel front camera are also part of the deal. The 4 GB internal storage can be extended upto 32 GB. 3G, WiFi, and Bluetooth connectivity options have also been included. Battery life is expected to deliver upto 350 hours of standby time, with 10-14 hours of talk time. The hardware houses a 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor, with 1GB RAM. The Q1000 comes with Jelly Bean 4.2, which is the latest update to the Android operating system.
Xolo seems to be relying on smartphone devices to make a stand in the Indian market, same as almost every other cell phone manufacturer. Will Xolo be able to make a lasting impression? Let’s leave that to the users.
