BenQ announced the release of their latest digital cameras in Europe– the C1250. The C1250 uses Scene Detection Technology to analyze the scene to be shot in detail: Subject brightness; Contrast; Distance and Overall hue, then immediately chooses one of the eight possible modes, to ensure the best settings for your shots: Landscape, Night scene, Night Portrait, Sunset, Macro, Portrait, Backlight, and Backlight Portrait. Also a Blink Detector alerts you when a subject has blinked, allowing the shot to be retaken immediately or saved according to preference settings. According to Benq the C1250 will be available in Europe in April 2010.
