Micromax has announced a cheap Android smartphone called “Smarty A54”, which is one among the thirty new models expected from the company this year. We already saw models like A116 Canvas HD and Smarty A65. Smart A54 features 3.5 inch HVGA capacitive touch screen with the pixel resolution of 480 x 320. It sports dual SIM capability, powered by 1GHz Qualcomm single core processor, 3.0 megapixel primary camera with no flash & auto focus and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.
In the connectivity side, it features Bluetooth 2.1, 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi and micro USB support. Smarty A54 is powered by a 1,300 mAh battery with four hours of talktime and standby time up to 170 hours.
The device will support video resolution of 240 x 320 at 30 frames per second. The supported video formats are 3gp and mp4 and the supported audio formats are AMR, MIDI, AAC, WAV and MP3.
