Mercedes Benz India is all set to launch its Celebrity Edition Benz which comes as an extra to its 10 million sold cars celebration. It is likely to release the car on November 12th. The C class gets its Celebrity Level.( a badge saying Edition C-Class)
The Mercedes Benz C class comes in a variety of variants and the higher the number, the higher the price. Example, The 250 CDi is heavily priced than the 220 CDI due to higher power. The C class has 7G Tronic 7 speed automatic transmission for its petrol variants which is said to reduce the fuel consumption.
This is what Mercedes Says about its transmission in the C-Class.
“Whether it be a manual gearshift or an automatic, an economical or a sporty driving style – the transmissions for the C-Class have been optimised in line with the model in which they are installed. Plus they are intuitive and ergonomic to use”
It is sure to be proving true. The C class and in fact all the Mercedes come with Blue Efficiency engines which is said to improve fuel consumption rate and thereby the efficiency of the engine. The all new Celebrity class is set to incorporate all these features with no change under the hood. The changes should be external- some cosmetic changes like a redesigned or revamped headlamp and wooden finish for the inside, etc. The C-Class was a head turner and the Celebrity C-Class is sure to turn some bodies as well. No info on the pricing though.
