If you had a chance to see your Google plus profile page recently, you would have noticed a number next to the number of followers on the profile page. And this number denotes the number of views your page and content has got since you started using Google Plus. Google’s blogpost explains, “you can tell how many times your content has been seen by other people, including your photos, posts, and profile page.”
This new change by Google can give you insights and statistics of your profile page and if you are using G+ for building business online, the number is going to be of real help.
But if you think that the view count needn’t be on your profile, follow the quick steps below to disable it!
- Click on the gear icon and navigate to Settings
- Scroll to Profile section
- De-select the check box saying “Show how many times your profile and content have been viewed”
