Updated on September 1, 2017

If you are a fan of Flipboard, then you will definitely love these new features in Flipboard 2.0. Flipboard announces its new version 2.0 with the ability to create a custom magazine out of your results. You can save articles, photos, audio and video by putting all of them into a beautiful magazine and share it with your friends. So it means, everyone can be a reader and an editor as well!

To create a magazine, you have to just tap the “+” button next to articles and choose the name & description for your magazine and start flipping. You can add any data into the magazine, including what’s being shared on social media like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, LinkedIn, SoundCloud and Instagram. Once the magazine is created, you can share it with your friends. Unfortunately, the shared magazine can only be viewed within the Flipboard app. It means, the recipient cannot view the magazine right away, but only gets an invitation to use the Flipboard.

The new version lets you flip through web pages as well. All you need to do is, just visit share.flipboard.com and simply drag & drop the bookmarklet “+ Flip It” onto your computer’s browser. Thereafter you can flip anything web page by clicking the bookmarklet. Now go to your magazine on Flipboard to find the latest flipped items in a print-style layout. Just tap to promote it as cover.
