Automatic message translation was one of the successful Gmail labs feature. The feature was introduced in May 2009 and was used by many Gmail users successfully. However this feature was only an experiment in Google labs. According to the reports from Mashable, automated message translation is no more in experiment phase and the service is expected to be available to all the Gmail users over the next few weeks. Now you can translate a message written in German to English and of course can communicate in German without even knowing the language, just by clicking the “Translate Message” button on the header of the email.
