Hone for iPhone and iPad will find your misplaced keys

If you are someone who often misplace your keys, then here’s a gadget that will help you to find it easily. The new kickstarter project called “Hone” that can be attached to your keychain and comes with an iOS app to find the misplaced keys. Hone is a Bluetooth 4.0 powered device that will light up and vibrate loudly when triggered via iOS application. The device has a powerful CR2032 battery that can run for 6 months and has a 150+ foot range. The device was developed by two friends – Louis and Geoff and have launched the project in the kickstarter to cover the cost required for manufacturing the molds for the device.

Here’s how Hone works,

Just connect the “Hone” to your key chain. Download the iOS app and pair it with the device (this should happen automatically) and tap “Find” button to find your misplaced keys. The “Hone” attached to your keychain will light up and vibrate loudly. If you don’t hear the sound, you can move around with the app open to search for your keys. Hone has a built-in proximity sensor so you’ll know when you’re getting closer or farther away.

The device weighs just 0.6oz and in the dimension of 2 1/8×1 1/4×1/2in (54x32x15mm). Currently the project at Kickstarter has 746 backers and 20 days left to reach the goal. Hone – Never Lose your Keys again!
