The products listed on leading shopping websites like Amazon or Flipkart will see price fluctuations often. If you ever wanted to keep track of price changes of a product via email, then Digital Inspiration fame Amit Agarwal has to put up a script in Google Docs that you might find it handy. It means, you will never miss the discount offers of a product and get an alert to your email.
To do that, you need to gather the list product URLs that you wish to track and put them right into a Google Spreadsheet. Then activate the Google script to keep track of the price fluctuations.
Here we go,
- Head on to this Google Sheet and make a copy of it – there you will find sample data to start with. On the right side, enter the product URLs that you wish to track.
- Click Price Tracker > Initialize and say “Accept” to authorize the script.
- Click Price Tracker > Start Tracking to activate the price tracker.
- Once done, close the Google Sheet.
You will receive an email containing the current prices of the product listed in Google Sheet, of course only when the price changes. That’s it!
