VLC finds a way to App Store after the Licensing issues

After a long struggle with Open source Licensing issues, VLC, the world’s best media player finds a way into App Store. According to the reports, the VideoLAN’s VLC was removed from the App Store due open source licensing issues, after its launch in October 2010. Now the issues has been sorted out and the app is currently released for both the iPhone and iPad devices. The release includes few interesting features such as Network streaming, video filters, AirPlay support, Dropbox integration, background audio playback support and subtitle supports.
