SkyDrive for iOS update: Automatic Photo upload

Updated on September 1, 2017

SkyDrive is known for its deeper integration with the Windows Phone OS rather than any other OS. How the Automatic photo upload and the video upload works seamlessly and beautifully like the OS itself. Now, the feature is integrated into iOS.

The latest update for the iOS incorporates the automatic photo upload feature. You get three qualities of photo upload. The first one is low quality where your photos are shrunk and resized and the second one is medium quality. The first two options are for users who have a limit on their data plans and are nearing their limits or for those that do not have a WiFi connection. The last option is the High quality. The option doesn’t resize your image and will upload to the site as it is from your phone.

Now these are options for the Lumia phones and I don’t know about the iPhone version. The quality of the app should be good and should be quite the same as the Lumia counterpart. The video uploading feature is unknown at the moment. Microsoft is doing a good job on keeping its cloud storage system active on the other platforms active. The move is sure to increase the customers towards Skydrive. Oh! One more thing. Even if you delete your picture on your phone after uploading it to Skydrive, it will still stay in the cloud storage and you can download it back whenever you like. Cool feature ain’t it? Download it now from the Apple Store.
