The latest iteration of Android 4.3 is getting its own treatment in the developer community. Manufacturers have a tough time releasing the OEM build according to schedule. Manufacturers like LG, Samsung, Sony have it tough when Google just tends to keep on releasing Android updates but they get it really late for the devices.
Android from the start has been enjoying developer support. Since its 1.5 Cuppycake update, though not many features were there in the initial stage. Android has many reasons for its advantages- one being that it is Open Source. Open source suggests that people (developers) can punch in their own code and make the operating system much more future-proof. But everything has its pros and cons. The cons being, it is very much likely to be virus infected. If you want to enjoy Android 4.3 update on your device before the official release through over the air update, you can check out the Cyanogen Mod 10.2 and install the update with your own risk. You should have rooted your device and installed a custom ClockWorkMod. For those of you who don’t know what this is. please wait for the official release otherwise you are in high risk of bricking your device. The CyanogenMod is currently available for 70 devices and with future updates is set to be available for more devices. Stay tuned!!!
