Finally Firefox comes up with a personalized tab page!

Updated on September 1, 2017

Opera, the first browser to debut the personalized tab page. The Personalized tab page displays the thumbnails of the websites most commonly viewed, which obviously can be customized for your convenient browsing. This feature was a great hit among the opera users, which was then implemented in Chrome, then Internet Explorer. Now, its time for the Firefox users to have this feature.

Finally, Firefox comes up with a personalized tab page. You can install Firefox 12 Aurora (Windows | Mac | Linux) to try out the personalized tab page. According to the news from Mozilla, this feature will be turned off on February 16 for testing purposes. But fortunately its easy to retain the feature using the below settings,

1. Type “about:config” in the address bar.

2. Set the attribute browser.newtab.url to “about:newtab” and browser.newtabpage.enabled to “true“.

Note: The feature is still in the development stage.
