That is quite obvious after every iOS update, the new features might be impressive but at the cost of your iPhone’s battery life. Disable the Parallax effect
Parallax effect – One of the most notable effect on iOS 7, that brings new home screen experience. Parallax effect will give you a 3D experience, but eats up hell amount of battery. If you are really looking to get back the battery life, then you must turn Off ‘Reduce Motion’. To do that, jump to Settings > General > Accessibility > Reduce Motion.
Disable Auto updates
The heading say it all; you should stop iOS 7 from updating automatically. Well, auto update is a good thing as it fixes security holes, bugs and can bring in some new features. But it consumes good amount of battery and leaves you drained when you really need your phone.
To disable Auto Updates, jump to Settings > iTunes & App Store > Automatic Downloads and toggle Off “Updates”
Disable App Refresh at the background
This feature will refresh your App updates without keeping it open. While this is a good feature, the problem comes when it runs in the background to pull latest updates from Apps. So obviously, it eats some juice. If you are not a fan of this feature, then go to Settings > General > Background App Refresh and toggle it Off.
Finally, the Location tracking service
Disable it, if you are not using it. To do that, go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > Frequent Locations > Off
