It’s all over for EvasiOn! The jailbreak that was grabbed by millions of jailbreak users will not be available for iOS 6.1.3. According to the reports from PlanetBeing, one of the member of the evad3rs team that developed the untethered jailbreak for iOS 6.x. It seems like the Apple has come up with a patch to the exploits that evasion used to jailbreak. The reports confirm that, Planetbeing is still working on to find a possible exploit, but Apple seen to have fixed those bugs.
“If one of the vulnerabilities doesn’t work, evasi0n doesn’t work,” he says. “We could replace that part with a different vulnerability, but [Apple] will probably fix most if not all of the bugs we’ve used when 6.1.3 comes out.”
Does it mean evasiOn will no longer be available for jailbreaking the new iOS? Probably, the answer could be yes, at least the progress made till now says it. Because in previous jailbreaks, the turnaround time for exploiting was shorter than now.
But our sincere thanks goes to the EvasiOn team for their work. To our users, we suggest to just enjoy the jailbreak and make sure you take backup of your SHSH blobs, in case if you want to downgrade.
