Steps to install Android 4.3 Google Play Edition ROM on Samsung Galaxy S4

Do you own a Samsung Galaxy S4 and wondering how to install Android 4.3 Google Play edition ROM on it? Well, you have landed on the right page. With the help of Sammobile, today we are going to take you through series of steps that lets you to setup Google Play Edition ROM on your Galaxy S4 GT-I9595.

According to Faryaab@Sammobile, the ROM has been extracted from Google Play edition Galaxy S4 and has been tested successfully on Snapdragon powered Galaxy GT-I9505 model. If you own a rooted GT-I9505 and have ClockworkMod Recovery installed, then you can right away flash the ROM. To do that, follow the below steps,

Install Android 4.3 on Galaxy S4

Step 1: Download Android 4.3 ROM : Odexed | Deodexed

Step 2: Connect your device to the PC via USB and copy the download ROM’s ZIP file to your internal SD card.

Step 3: Shutdown your Galaxy S4.

Step 4: Now press and hold Power + Home + Volume Up keys until the device is booted into ClockworkMod Recovery.

Step 5: Perform full factory reset using ‘wipe data/factory reset’ option. Note: This action will delete all the data on your device.

Step 6: Go to “install zip from sdcard” > “choose zip from sdcard”  and select Google Play edition ROM zip file.

Step 7: Wait until the ROM is installed and select the reboot option from the main menu.

If everything went well, your device should boot into Android 4.3 Google Play edition.
