Have you been experiencing very low sound quality or volume in Sony Xperia Z’s external speaker? Well, you can increase it using the mod developed by an XDA Developer ZeroInfinity. The developer has successfully increased both the internal and external speaker’s volume with Extra Volume Boost mod. According to the developer, the normal version is available for devices that runs on AOSP based ROMs and there is a Super-loud version that works on Sony’s stock firmware. To install the mod, you will have to download the zip file and flash it through the custom recovery such as TWRP or ClockworkMod.
As a caution, the users are advised to take a backup; preferably a Nandroid backup, so that you can revert it back, if something goes wrong during the installation.
