AutoResponder, a famous jailbreak tweak will let you to send auto-reply for your text messages and program it to send a pre-generated reply to anyone. The Cydia tweak normally costs $2.99, but now it just costs $1.50 for a limited period of time. Along with the discount news, we also have good news that AutoResponder has released a new version to support iOS 6. Current version of the app is AutoResponder 2, which was released this week.
Once the tweak is installed, you will find the preference settings in the Stock Settings app. You can choose to enable the tweak and when it is done, all the incoming messages will be automatically replied with a response of your choice. The tweak comes with an option to set preset messages and default messages for response. For example, you can choose to set preset messages as ‘Lunch’ or ‘Dinner’ and your default messages might be more generic like ‘I am busy’ or ‘On the Way’.
The current version (AutoResponder 2) will allow you to create ‘whitelist’ contacts; once the whitelist is created, those contacts will not be included for auto-replies. The tweak also has a timer option, that lets you to wait between 1 minute to 2 hours for responses. AutoResponder 2 will work with both text and iMessages.
