Below are the requirements: Make sure you have java installed and CASUAL Tool bundle downloaded (find link at the end of this article) before proceeding with the below steps.
Step 1: Enable the “USB Debugging” from the Settings > Developer options.
Step 2: Run the CASUAL’s jar file and connect your device to the PC via USB.
Step 3: Click “Do it!” and follow the on-screen steps.
The tool needs you to install the necessary drivers to detect the device. If the drivers were already installed and the tool is still not able to detect the phone, then you will have to uninstall the existing drivers and restart the computer and choose ‘MSM8960’ for the driver when prompted.
