Normally it takes you at least 6 steps to enable or disable your device’s Passcode from Home screen. But sometimes you might want to enable or disable Passcode more often. For e.g you might want to disable the passcode while you are at home and enable it again when you move out. So it’s really cumbersome to navigate through six steps every time for enabling or disabling the feature. But if you had jailbroken your device, then you are at luck. A new jailbreak application called “TapTapPass” lets you to enable your device passcode via Tap, gesture or any other Activator functions.
TapTapPass is a free app from Cydia, that doesn’t feature any settings panel or springboard icon. So all the configuration are well built inside the Activator app, which can be invoked from the Settings > Activator. Once the app is installed, you will have to choose your Activator function. Once done, you can enable the iOS passcode by shaking your device, double tapping the status bar, hold status bar on Home screen, double press sleep button at home screen etc…Well, TapTapPasscode will disable the feature when the device is unlocked and you can either use the gesture to lock it again or use the standard sleep button.
TapTapPass is available in ModMyi repo for free.
